P4A introduced me to the fighting genre, but I think SSFIV is the most challenging of all (at least for me, the learning curve between button mashing combos in P4A compared to the timing required in SSFIV was quite frustrating)

You just have to play it differently, it can be hard to jump between the two types of combo systems. P4A (and most anime fighters) are based around chains. SSFIV however is based around links.
