Favorite Pre-PS3 Game: HD Release or Direct Sequel?

#1HOTJaVaLaVaPosted 2/12/2013 9:24:02 AM
If you had the choice, would you want a direct sequel or HD release of your favorite Pre-PS3 game? - Results (62 votes)
Direct Sequel
54.84% (34 votes)
HD Release
45.16% (28 votes)
This poll is now closed.
If you had the choice to either play your favorite game but updated with HD graphics, voice acting, and anything else that is the norm in today's games, or have a direct sequel of that favorite game (I say direct because consider a game from Final Fantasy and it would be a spin-off rather than going to the next Final Fantasy game), what would you choose? I highly encourage people to state the game they chose and why they chose the option they did.

A direct GOOD sequel, not some rebooted half a$$3d crap... Otherwise i'll just take the HD Re-Release.

FFVII's had sequels...and prequels...
I voted HD...but I'd rather they just left the poor fella' alone.
Death has no messengers. It delivers itself, usually in the most adequate way when dealing with impersonators.

I'd love an HD version of my favorites first, and then hopefully that would lead to direct sequels.
Go, then.....there are other worlds than these.

Final Fantasy VII-2. But honestly, I wouldn't want SE to release it in their current state.

I don't really care about HD releases of games I've already played, but I'll take that over a sequel which could potentially ruin the original.

HD. Some sequels simply suck. A prettier version of a great game is... well, a prettier version of a great game.
I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book.

Honestly I'd throw my money at either, but I would rather a sequel.
