Where can I see whats taking up my harddrive space?

I checked the system tab I think? It said I have 179 out of 232 gb. That cant be right cause I only have 5 games for my ps3. My newest game I havent even installed yet. I totaled up the GB in the game folder and it was 25 GB. So I should have around 205 GB Im guessing from other things as well. How do I only have 179 GB left? Whats taking up this extra space?

Simple really hit triangle on the game sroll to infomation that will tell you how much room its taking. there is also the game data utility which has loads of info in that folder. Even games while not installed still take up room.

Yeah I already did that. I totaled it up and it was only taking up 25 GB.

Lets not forget PS Home, Netflix, any videos, music, photos that you might have on there as well as saves files and DLC.

Netflix only took up 12 MB I think? I have no videos or music on my ps3. Only have like 5 pictures.

I think like 30 gigs are reserved for like game/dash updatess

This^^ maybe you have some install data to dos that happen on digital games too?

Pretty much this, I'm pretty sure it's actually 10% of however big your drive is though. I just deleted everything except my saves and upgraded to 1 tb hdd and had 900 gigs

Well I have a 250 GB harddrive and it says 179 free space out of 232GB. So is it 18 GB for the Xmb and 30 GB reserved as well? How do people play with only a 20 GB harddrive then?

running into a similar issue, but I have even less space available.

I went through and deleted all non-essential things, culled back a huge amount of my digital downloads, and I'm still running dangerously low on space.

I'm thinking of just doing a save backup and reformatting.
