I think the Dead Space creators should make an Aliens game...

Dead Space seems like the kind of gameplay that would be fitting for an Alien game. Of course, it would need to be a bit different, but I think it would be great. They could also use the acid-blood aspect.

In SA2, it's Super Sonic and Hyper Shadow.

They need to get the old team from Monolith Productions back together. They made the Alien vs Predator 2 game back in 2001 for PC and MAC and it is still hands down the best Aliens game ever! Some of my favorite moments ever consisted for online gaming came from the game. Hanging out the ceiling as a xeno and dropping down on a group of marines and tearing them to shreds. And the Marine playing SP & MP was so intense! One of the most frightening single player experiences of it's time!

Agreed, but ideally they should model it after the more horror-oriented DS1. In fact, just redo DS1 but with Aliens instead of Necromorphs.

DONE.

What happened to survival horror?
Ironically, it did not survive - TheCyborgNinja

Well, the aliens aren't constantly-mutating beings. So you'll have to hand them differently. Can't delimb them part by part and have them grow new body parts. Although delimbing them makes them bleed, so that's how they could implement the acid blood aspect. I also think they should generally be agile. Crawl on walls and holes and whatnot, break walls, disappear from your sight and surprise you from a different side. Intelligent, ferocious beings that don't rush recklessly at you and will try to sneak up on you.

I think combat should be in fairly closed environments, but some in space would be nice as well (with ever changing gravity and debri drifting in space). Combat low numbers of aliens. Usually just 1 or 2 at the same time (maybe more of smaller kinds of aliens). And yes, survival-horror is a must. The original Alien moves were all about suspense, not knowing what could happen and from where. Fighting very powerful creatures that will shred you into tiny pieces if you lose focus or make wrong combat decisions.

You just described the Dead Space series, except they are all action horror. Also, the movie Aliens was much more an action movie than the horror that Alien was.
