The only game i played with Open World i liked is Xenoblade, It was fun especially since you can skip traveling if you want, I played GTA and didn't like them, Minecraft is good too but i don't think that counts

elderscrolls fallout is close but new Vegas and it's invisible walls, massive bugs and forcing you into a liner path kind of killed it.

Yeah. It's open world.

Reason I mention this: the 360 version's map can be walked from one wall to the other in a matter of minutes.

Red Dead Redemption. (Freaking amazing)
Skyrim. (I didn't really like the game, though)
GTA IV. (Amazing for it's time, 2007-2008).
