So why did Nintendo backstabbed Sony?

PangLa Posted 2/15/2013 11:59:07 AM	I know Nintendo and Sony was suppose to work together and Nintendo back off at the very last minute. But what exactly happened though, why did Nintendo decided to back off at the last minute? Who's fault was it?

There is also a bad answer, because she said yes to the question of if she should not teach you anything.

Yes Sony were dragging their feet which led to Nintendo approaching Phillips and a "duel development" path, but twist in the story has always been the in the way eastern business practice puts the emphasis in their "honour" clauses of contracts. When Sony found that Nintendo went behind their backs they breached the agreement, leading to Sony walking away with all of the jointly developed tech and the name included. The bad part of your post wasnt the question itself but the biased opinion embedded in it... it wouldve been decent if it were "why did sony and nintendo split ways during snes cd development".
