When technical support for the PS3 ends, will I lose my PS+ games?

Since you have to stay a Playstation Plus member to play games that you've downloaded on a PS+ account, does this mean that when Sony decides to stop supporting the PS3, all of those games will never be accessible ever again?

Given the fact that it will be at least 3-5 years before that will happen my answer will be no.

When PSN inevitably stops working on the PS3 or being accessible, ie they close off PS3s from accessing the PSN servers or just shut down the PS3 servers entirely, then yes, you will likely lose them.

Unless Sony becomes insanely generous and just releases some firmware update to allow all games to switch over to being considered purchased by the system.

It likely won't happen for 5-7 years, but it will eventually happen.
