Watch Dogs vs Grand Theft Auto V

I've only seen 1 scripted trailer for Watch Dogs , while GTA is a proven series , so I went with that.

I have no problem with that, my thing is I hated GTA4. If I ranked GTA games by how much I liked them it would take rock bottom easily. It really tanked my enthusiasm for the series. Now this does also have the caveat I never bothered trying any of the DLC either which I heard is better. RDR did kind of rekindle my hope of future GTA games, but right now Watch Dogs just looks so much more interesting to me.

Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

I cannot believe that GTA V is currently losing. It looks incredible (as does Watch dogs), but we have seen much more of GTA V, and it wasnt a stage demo (that may have been edited to look better for all we know)

After the borefest that was GTA4 I can't blame anyone for having reservations about the next title.

Watch Dogs for me.
GTA IV was one of the most boring games I have played this gen and V doesn't look to be none too special either.

Probably GTA V but that's only if they bring the fun back to the series and the characters aren't crap like they were in the last game. GTA IV was the most boring disappointment this gen. Rockstar has already made up for it with RDR but if GTA V is garbage I'm pretty much done with that series.

I have to say GTA V, only cause I've never heard anything about Watch Dogs.

When you talk like that I know something is up, and when you smell like that it means somebody must die.

It's a shame. GTAIV is actually one of the most "artistic" games actually out, without being in-your-face or terrible about it, but because R* made it subtle nobody actually gives it any credit. Niko's a much better developed character than whatever cliche drag the protag of Watch Dogs is going to end up being. I think GTAIV dragged on with too many characters all having the same sort of missions, though.

And I really don't understand why GTAIV is uniformly put-down whilst everyone loves Red Dead, which is essentially the same thing done in a different setting, except with less humour and immature-hyjinks stuff. What exactly is so much better about Red Dead?
