Hmm, which of these RPGs should I play first?

Picked up Ni No Kuni and it got me craving some more RPG action so I dug around and picked up the following:

Eternal Sonata
Nier
FF13
13-2
Ni No Kuni
Valkyria Chronicles
Lost Odyssey
Tales of Vesperia
Star Ocean The Last Hope International
Resonance of Fate

Not sure which one to start with. :D

Nier. Do at least one NG+ playthrough, though!

i've got RoF in the pile, seems intriguing. i'd play FFXIII first, just to get it out of the way, plus regardless of what everyone says, it has some really memorable moments. just don't go it with huge expectations. valkyria is awesome.

it's simple. just be nice.

I've finished all of those games and I'd order them from best to worst like this:

Nier
Tales of Vesperia
FF13
13-2
Eternal Sonata
Valkyria Chronicles
Star Ocean The Last Hope International
Resonance of Fate
Ni No Kuni

NNK is last, but don't mistake it for being a bad game. You just happened to list games that are all amazing. It just didn't measure up to the others.

You lack the mustache for full comprehension. (Super Paper Mario)

You got one hell of a backlog. I say ToV to get ya started.

Drippy: "This is why they say never work with children!" (Ni no Kuni)
PSN: BlueHippo12 - Playing: Sly 4, Ni no Kuni, Skyrim.

You must have many hands if you picked all of those up in one go. If you made multiple trips picking them up, though, next time I'd suggest sweeping them up. A sweep is a more efficient way to collect multiple objects than a pick.

For sure. I am about 9 hours into NNK and it got me wanting to play more RPGs that I've missed this gen so far. It's a charming game and I really like the familiars, but kinda bored with it.

I went a bit overboard. LOL I'm not even sure if I'll even get through all of them but wanted to snag them up while I found them.

Yeah not to mention I still have FF Tactics War of the Lion, VC2, FF4 Complete, FF6, and SO 2nd Evolution on PSP that I haven't played through yet either LOL.

Lost odyssey is the best jrpg that I have played this gen. Start with that. Read the 10,000 years of dream sequences, and do not skip them to just move on with the game. The dream sequences are one of the best parts of the game.
