New to PS3. My brother is selling me his. Should I buy it?

So... I've always wanted to get a PS3, but some of their games look unappeling to me...

My brother, however, is selling me his PS3 with 10 games for $150.

The games are:
3D Dot Game Heroes
Bulletstorm "Linited Edition"
Dead Rising 2
Disgaea 4
PSN Downloadable "Dust 514"
Bionic Commando
RAGE
Resident Evil 6
The Walking Dead Collectors Edition
Tony Hawk's "Ride" with a board
Sealed up "Uncharted 3"

For someone that is a Nintendo fan, I am only getting this for it's cheap price. Should I buy it and are there more quirky (colorful, fun ect) games for the PS3?

Disgaea 4 is quirky. If you like JRPGs there are plenty of games like that on the PS3.

that's a steal for 150

out of the list there's 3 games that is kinda quirky and fun

3d dot game heroes, disgaea 4 and uncharted 3

Yes, there are. 3D Dot Game Heroes and Disgaea 4 would probably qualify, and you could try Little Big Planet. You could also check out the games on PSN, you could probably find something to interest you there.

The price sounds reasonable, and I think you might be surprised if you look further into the PS3's library. You could always sell or trade in the ones from that list you don't want towards something you would like to try. I'm also a Nintendo fan, but I've actually enjoyed my PS3 more this last gen.

3D Dot Heroes and Uncharted 3 would suit you. Disgaea as well if you're into the Japanese style of quirky (I'm not, personally).

Then there's LittleBigPlanet, Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper, inFamous, Ni No Kuni, Tokyo Jungle etc
Have you played Metal Gear Solid? You may like that.

There's a lot of variety in the library, don't judge it from just what your brother has.
