I never lose video games. I look after them and don't lend them to anyone (because if they lost it and didn't immediately replace it, I'd literally beat them half to death with a bat. It's just easier to keep friends if they don't take my stuff).

I lost Paper Mario: TTYD. No idea how. And that's for both of the times I lost it!
After the first time, it somehow showed up all of a sudden after a year or 2. Then a few weeks later, it was gone again and I never found it anymore. It's a big f***ing mystery to me how that happened, because I take good care of my games. It's the only game I lost as well.

One time, a long time ago, my GameBoy Color and Pokemon Red went missing at school. It was there one minute, then gone the next. It was the end of the school day and I was being pressured to leave, but I wouldn't. I kept pacing around looking for it, going crazy because a few weeks ago the same thing happened to my friend's StarCraft disk. As my desperation spiked, I stopped dead in my tracks as a memory seemed to force its way to the front of my mind, about a friend who had transferred to another school years before would hide things in the bathroom ceiling.
I rushed to the bathroom, stood atop the toilet, moved a ceiling panel aside, reached around, and found my GameBoy Color and Pokemon Red. I returned to report my success, when my friend asked about his StarCraft disk. I went back, found that too, as well as several sponges that I assume were used to test the viability of the hiding spot. We never found out who did it.
