I am just finishing Max Payne 3, and it is most definitely the most violent game I've ever played. The way the bullets tear into bad guys like butter, and the blood and the way dudes just get torn apart. It's strangely poetic. Even in some of the cut scenes where people meet their fate by some gruesome executions is crazy. I absolutely love how brutal and unapologetic this game is. A shame it didn't sell better. Anyway, what's your guys most violent game you've played? --- 3DS FC: 5456-0191-1034 PSN ID: MATADOR480 (PM if you add)
Are we Talking Violent? or Gory? because those are two different things.
The Hitman and Manhunt Series come to mind. to a lesser extent things like GodHand.
to be honest this Gen its seemed like at least Gore was toned down a bit.. which is surprising do to the current state of Horror Movies. Current Horror movies are either PG13 rated trash or Gore Porn... or Godawful Platinum Dunes made Remakes. --- XBOX GT & PSN: thetimeofthe9 Currently Playing: Heavy Rain, Assassin's Creed III, Tera
Manhunt. Though really not so gory by today's graphical capabilities. It wasn't so much blood and gore everywhere, it was more the cold, brutal murders you did. The calmness of it all, stalking someone and then slowly killing them.
It actually bothered me. I could run through game after game and kill masses of enemies with blood and bits of them flying everywhere, but Manhunt really made me feel uneasy.
It's just such a shame the controls and difficulty made it a chore to play.
Manhunt 3 on the PS4, make it happen Rockstar. Fully unedited (Manhunt 2 had all the executions blurred out in the UK... complete joke by the BBFC) with an idiots mode for people like me. --- "My name is Spartan Jay, the greatest Black Ops 2 player of all time.
