Dante from the DMC series isn't even a good character, why do people like him ??

80/80. Oh and it's not like I'm a fan of dante in dmc, thats just my real bloody name.


Dante has good design and he looks cool but he really isn't a very good character. He's really inconsistent, and has no character development.

In DMC1 he was serious half of the time, and cocky the other half. He was a likable character.
in DMC2 he was too serious, and his character changed for no reason. They didn't even explain why he was like that. So they had to change the timeline.
DMC3 Dante was just annoying and lame, some of the cutscenes were pretty much embarrassing to watch.
In DMC4.....yea he's bad. He's drunk the entire game, and he doesn't take anything seriously. Atleast DAnte in 3 was serious at some parts, in 4 he was all drunk the entire game.

And why WOULDN'T Dante in 4 be?

Nearly everything he had at the time is GONE.

He didn't even have a real purpose in BEING in 4 besides Yamato.

I wouldn't call him drunk. He just didn't care. He was aloof.

Dante is cool but i actually prefer Nero, he is like more cocky.
