Finally PC games can move forward...

Except PCs almost always lead in the graphics and gameplay department, though the latter is more subjective (I prefer mouse over stick for FPS). Crysis 3 is a prime example of that.

PC doesn't lead any generation, as you just admitted by saying PC has been waiting for console to move forward. Dvelopers make games for consoles and will push technological barrier on consoles, then port them to PC.

PC's hardly do anything innovate or ground breaking anymore.

Graphically? No. Crysis was a step backwards in many ways and it was clear why though. Consoles. It'll be nice to see some improvement in general though.

Why are PCs reliant on console specs? Because they don't have enough game sales without making titles multiplat?

glass house owner stop throwing stones. Multiplat is common for everyone.

I asked a question. Not all of us are heated for a console war, loser.

Why? Because **** you is why.

The only thing holding PC games back, is the PC gamers themselves. Try actually buying some games, and actually supporting your exclusives for once. Sorry, but buying a bunch of 5$ titles on a Steam sale is not supporting your platform.

No the thing holding it back are indeed the developers need to optimize their games (aka water down) for consoles in order to profit from game development.

PCs are only notorious for being relatively expensive, hence the smaller crowd. Smaller crowds do not appeal to developers trying to achieve the best graphics and make money at the same time, so a balance must be met.

Ironically, if it wasn't for the consoles you wouldn't even get most of your triple A games.

For example, do you think they would have made invested in Crysis 3 in PC only market? I will guarantee that they would not have.

Look at Dead Space 3 for example (since there is no data for Crysis 3 yet):
http://www.vgchartz.com/gamedb/?name=Dead+Space+3

Of the 0.65 million units sold so far, only 3% of them were on the PC.

You can lolz vgcharts all you want, but it paints a pretty clear picture which is that the PC market is not where the money is made.

You should be thanking the console market, since you're really only inheriting the big multi platform games from them.
