PS3 Downloading Question

Hey guys, so I tried the other night to download NBA 2K13 on my cousin's PS3 since we wanted to play that and I did not have mine with me (I bought it off the PSN). However, it didn't let us as it said I have two systems registered already. I asked some of my buddies to delete my account off their systems which they did, yet it still did not work. Then I remembered that it was on my brother's PS3 before it broke down and crashed a year ago. Would that be the reason it's not working? Because it was never deleted off his system? Or is something up that I don't know about?

You need to deactivate it from Sony's site

You don't have to delete an account you need to deactivate. However that is a problem when the ps3 that needs an account deactivated is broken. That's when you need to use the web page to deactivate all the ps3's your account might be on. Sony only lets you do that once every 6 months.
