3. Activate widescreen in the game, if supported. 4. Activate progressive scan in the game, if supported.

5. You'll probably have to turn the Sharpness down to zero, or maybe 10% at this point.
6. Just start playing. Motion blur will handle most problems, and once you get used to the way the games look, they'll start seeming better and better.

Sweet. I was considering downloading Haunting Ground and War of the Monsters.
Where the hell is Haunting Ground on the store?
That was the exact question that popped into my mind right when I read this post.. I've been wanting that game to be on PSN forever! I just recently hooked up my PS2 just to play Haunting Ground which does look a little fuzzy even with component cables!
I got Vice City from PSN and was surprised how bad it looked.. But when I turned off the "trails" feature and put it on widescreen, it looks much better! Still not as clear as the PC version but good enough!
