the 8 GB GDDR5 RAM cost about 1-2k

PS4 is speculated to be about 400-500.

The bad ports are few and far between and are easily fixed, the games are much, much cheaper and easily accessible and are played far better than the console counterparts. If you've got the money and you want to play games, may as well do it right.

Besides, there's a chance next consoles coming out need to be always online as well so there goes that one. I don't take poor out in the sticks people into account when making statements "Oh no, it takes an ambulance an hour to get out here when something horrible happens" that's because you live out in the middle of ****ing nowhere.
If you don't have an Internet connection by now in this day and age, you don't deserve one.

LOL The logic of the PC gamer. If you don't have online, you don't deserve to play any single player games.
