f1madmanPosted 2/25/2013 2:35:52 AM | I've only just started the game but it sounds like I only have 8 hours before Russia destroys another city.... Would be Silly then if I ended up playing for 40 hours --- GameFAQs isn't going to be merged in with GameSpot or any other site. We're not going to strip out the soul of the site. -CJayC |
_tanjil_Posted 2/25/2013 2:51:34 AM | whats sad is people who look at the in game timer and believe it.
If you believe a timer that tells you you played 4 hours but you spent 8-10 hrs counting retries and cut scenes, then you have a problem keeping track of time |
Anodyne11Posted 2/25/2013 4:33:57 AM | As said, it's because of how they total your "play time" They don't include deaths or cutscenes so people think it was a lot shorter than it actually was.
To put it one way, if you did that with a game like MGS, most people's final playtimes would be around 3-5 hours. --- Valkyria Chronicles is the best RPG this gen! Official Ultimecia of the Dissidia 012: Duodecim boards |

My only complain with the game that is very VERY repetitive, I mean god I never like GOW for that reason, you walk you shoot, next target, open door shoot till the game is done I agree I didn't like it too, i think the fans love it because of the combos and moves, i'm not interested in that. get Binary Domain, it will make you love the genre. |

i guess you're just really bad at the game. it takes ~6 hours to beat. i played it on the hardest difficulty available by default (i forget which that is) and it was still really short. it also wasn't that fun; it had its moments, but it was still a short, linear 3rd person shooter with no co-op, no competitive multiplayer, etc. The hardest difficulty setting isn't available by default tho. It has to be unlocked. You are probably thinking of Hard Mode, which actually isn't hard. I beat Hard Mode in one sitting without ever being killed. The Hardest Mode is much much harder than Hard Mode. In fact, it is one of the hardest Difficulty Settings I have ever faced. It makes Master Ninja look like a cake walk. The only Difficulty Setting that beats it is DMD So I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but you didn't beat it on the hardest setting. Either you have a terrible memory, or are just plain lying |

It's still an illogical way to ascertain the quality of a game. He basically went on to say that the game had no replay value, which is absolutely untrue. I feel sorry for him and anyone else who thinks this way about action games. They are completely missing the point of these games |
