Disappointing generation for the Survival Horror fans..........
There are a few games that look interesting tho: PSN Siren (wich i have no idea what is the deal with episode 1 through 12) and Deadly Premonition seems to be kinda horrorific. Idk about that Kojima SIlent Hill rumor but the guy seems to be involved in plenty of stuff already...
NP: Ni No Kuni and P4Arena
Seriously, how stupid can you be to NOT realize that this is the greatest survival horror game of this generation
GT: Devilwillcry42 PSN: Raidoukuzunoha42
My name is Kanji Tatsumi, you said I like dudes, prepare to die.
Are you talking about this game:
Doesn't look scary at all brah

abnergoinbig posted...I enjoyed - Dead Space 1-3, Resident Evil 5 & 6, Silent Hill HC & DP, Condemned 1 & 2, video playthrough of Siren: Bloodcurse, and I'm sure I'm missing some.
Have you even played ZombiU? Regardless of it's quality(which aside from it's freezing issues, is amazing), I don't see how anyone can deny that it's a survival-horror game, especially compared to RE3 and Dino Crisis.
RE2, 3 and 0 are awful compared to any Silent Hill game. The original is too, but gets a pass because it came out earlier. CV is ok and REmake is on the level of SH3. Dino Crisis is just trash.
Polite conversation should never include Politics, Religion or what constitutes an RPG.
Playing a game for it's story is like watching porn for it's story.
funny how most of the games you mentioned have guns from start to fiish, each one you killed hundreds of enemies throught the games...this isnt survuival horror according to some of you blah blah blah lol
Ecspecially the RE games where you have always been armed to the teeth with enough ammo to kill hundreds through the games.....this isnt survival horror! Gotta love it huh
Survival horror is still here, its evolved sure but its def still here, if some of you werent so contradictive, negative whining babies who flip out over everything and hate on everything bfore maybe playing whatever perhaps you may be able to have fun
Or maybe if some of you understood what survival horror meant you would also notice not every game in the genre has to follow exact rules or feature "zombies"
Real Hip Hop...I miss the 90's-Puppets Of Chaos - Tru Dat
Holding out hope for "Until Dawn"
You are a lightbulb assassin. ~Tmac2035 on "Splinter Cell"
i think gamers are just to scared to play Survival horrors these days
There was a rumour about Hideo Kojima wanting to do a Silent Hill game. Let's hope for that.
Kojima would make an interesting Silent Hill
Swann:This is the last time.I'm tired of running damage control every time he makes a mess
Campbell:Right. You're the control, and if that fails,I'm the damage
What happened was this entire gen the majority of the Japanese gaming industry got bad. Since most survival horror type of games were Japanese made, quality suffered.
Day Z is easily the best survival horror-ish game around in the last several years.
Big Money. Big Women. Big Fun.
I don't have a cocaine habit, I just like the way it smells.
^ You obviously don't know WTF you are talking about...
First of all, ZombiU isn't a "terrible" game, but whatever...secondly, have you even played the game ? I highly doubt it, because if you did, you would know that you have less ammo and less weapons at your disposal than any RE game, and especially Dino Crisis.
ZombiU has inventory management & resources are tight, forcing you to use a cricket bat most of the time.
ZombiU is more of a survival-horror game than any of the games you mentioned.
Just admit that you are partial to RE 1-3....and that would be fine...but don't make anymore stupid comments about games which you know nothing about.
And other than the fact that ZombiU has zombies, it has little to no similarities to Dead Island.
From: foxyReyoko | #031JohnQuincyTroII posted...No, Kojima does not need to be let anywhere near a Silent Hill game. He's overrated to hell, his writing is sloppy and bloated, and he has all the subtlety of a brick. Even he admitted he wouldn't be the right choice to helm Silent Hill.
MGS1 and MGS2 had its tense moments and were pretty good storywise (even if MGS2 had a very convoluted plot twist), MGS3 is where i felt his scripts and plotlines were becoming a bit too goofy and exaggerated. MGS4 was just....awful, storywise it felt thrown together and very unsatisfying for what was supposed to be the end of the series.
