Before the end of march I get 3 months for free?

I just bought a game that came with this code, am I reading this right or is this only for 3 months or a year that the offer is valid too.

Yeah, this is pretty cool..my friend gets me a year of Plus as a yearly birthday gift and my birthday is March 4th..
