Other: the only overrated game is Arkham City. Asylum was just right.
Other games were average to below average, except Batman Returns for the SNES, the rest? not really talked about. --- "Oh, you think darkness is your ally, but you merely adopted the dark. I was born in it" - Bane to Batman
Not at all. I'm not even a big fan of the bat and yet I loved them. I didn't like City's ope-world approach as much, but it was still a great game. I can only imagine how much more amazing they'd be if I was a Batman fan. --- Meet the new love of my life-- http://itotd.com/view/80/
Arkham asylum and arkham city wouldn't have that kind of reception if they weren't about batman. Both are quite bland in term of gameplay , the movements are completely unrealistic ( a shame for a non-powered hero) , the infiltrations part are crippled by the fact that the AI is disastrous (especially in the first one) and the story is very simple.
If it weren't for batman being there , those two game would have been treated as " another brawler game , and a bland one at that".
Arts and dialogues are amazing though. --- Videogame cancer : Perpetual easy mode (AKA USA syndrome), word "main" in fighting games.
