FML just got Tomb Raider and my PS3 died on me.

Just bought Tomb Raider for the PS3, turned it on, checking HDD for corruption, no corruption detected, console boots up, only displays background screen, no response to any inputs. Turned it off then on again, corruption check again. The console is totally dead and I just spent £32 getting tomb raider. T_T

You dont have to put the game into the console for it to die on you.

Just getting near it is bad enough, all the evil in that game radiates disaster

Could just be the hard disk, if it is you could try replacing it.

It's like trying to feed a baby liver loaf... they don't want it. Ps3 saw tomb raider coming for its mouth slot and it, too, didn't want it. Deal with it.

Did a PS3 restore and now it is working again, lost a lot of my saves but I had some of them backed up onto a usb memory stick. \o/

Played some of the game and so far I am very impressed. Also to Sophi, GTFO and troll someone else.
