I'm just asking this out of curiosity. I never really bought a CE before, so I wouldn't really know. I have the kirby's dream collection special edition and the persona 1 limited edition, but those were just first print editions that had a soundtrack cd in them. well kirby had a small paperback book tho.
My friend told me the worst collector edition he bought was the fable 2 collector's edition.
Killzone 3 CE (Awesome Helghast Helmet+Figure) Ninja Gaiden 3 CE (Duel of the Masked statue is WIN) Metal Gear Rising CE (Love muh plasma lamp) Naruto Storm 3 (Gotta have the Figurines to add to my Gaming Collection) God of War: Ascension (soon to have) BioShock Infinite (DAT SONGBIRD STATUE!!!!)
Why don't you go take a jog? Better yet, go kick some rocks. Let me guess you have a blog, follow trends like it's your job.
Worst collectors editions i've bought would have to be Splinter Cell Double Agent (A red slip cover and bonus dvd, really?), Rainbow Six Vegas 1 and 2 (to be fair I bought these used for super cheap, btu they are sucky LEs), Fable 2 LE (dropped a bunch of the cool collectors items from the package at the last minute), Splinter Cell Conviction LE (Almost every copy had broken USB drives within), God of War 3 LE (Just a big cheap plastic pandoras box that takes up space, all I really wanted was the art book and dlc)
I really love CE's with well made physical items, a steelbook case, nice art book, a physical soundtrack or making of dvd. Can't stand LE's with just a buncha digital download crap.
