You know what might help, stop making these topics and play the damn games.

This is like the third topic about this I've seen from you TC.

My backlog is down to 13 games. Can't wait until I hit five.

First of all TC, stop buyin' games. That's the only way you're gonna control the backlog.

Next, a lot of the games you have your list can be beaten in no time. If you're goin' for plats, that's another story. Even then, you still won't have to invest too much time in some of the games.

With the fighters, you can beat the story/arcade mode and knock those off the list quick. The Walking Dead doesn't require much effort, but still is a great game.

This is one of the biggest problems ive ran into ever since my income increased a lot.....

I have no excuse not to get what i want when it comes out, so i get it, even if i cant play it for months to come because theres no time >_<

Its still much better than the other way around thou, having time, not enough money to get your games, that is just unacceptable.

I had a huge backlog with a lot of RPGs (ps1, ps2, pc, ps3, ds, 3ds...). I had $500+ worth of game I never played.

I was able to clear half of it in the last few months. My secret... I decided to stop buying games completely until I had finished every game in my backlog.

When I finally clear my backlog, I'll never buy more than two games at once.

I haven't brought one game this year, and my backlog as only gone down about 3 games. Of course, I only get about 10-15 hours of gaming each week.

...going back across multiple systems just blows my mind.

For me it has to do with the 5th Generation of gaming being my favorite gen, so now I can go back and grab up a bunch of the titles from that era for cheap (mostly). It's just too tempting for me to pass up. Let's see...current gen games like Gears of War, or Einhander...hmmmm. To me, that's a simple choice!

Where to start? How about stop buying games until you finish the ones you have.

If you're not going to share with the entire class, then don't bother sharing at all.

Wow thought my back log was bad, I've got

God of War 3, Assension
Metal Gear Solid 2, 3, PW HD and MGS4
Killzone 1, 2, 3
Jak 2 and 3
Ni No Kuni
Infamous 2

and some PS1 and 2 classics I fancy playing.

It wasn't so bad until they change my hours at work so I have less time to game, and the time I do have I spend staring at the shelf wondering what to play, or looking online for new games to buy.
