I played Bioshock, didn't like it much.
I played Mass Effect, didn't like it much.

so I stopped playing the series after the first game.
it's ok if you don't like the game everyone has his own opinion..

but if you never played them that's a whole other thing

I've only played Bioshock 2 but i wasn't expecting much when i bought it cheap, i was pleasantly suprised. People say the first is the best one though

I'm also in Platinum now. Using a level 64 Dryad light campaign and almost all drops where I am (Orc region) are level 90+ lol. I have a great build but I need to level up a LOT to move further on. My Dryad is Badass though.

Also thanks for the input guys I'm thinking I'm prob going to pick these games up just going to try to get them used prob since it seems to be a mixed crowed of opinions but from what I gather I should at least play me from 1 an as far as bioshock goes start with 1 as well since it seems to be the better of the 2 ???

Mass Effect is great. ME2 and ME3 are still good, but they are stripped down compared to the first game.

Haven't played Bioshock but Mass Effect games are awesome. Start with the fist game as is the least polished of the three and you may find it a bit clunky when comparing it with 2 and 3.

havent played mass effect 1 or 3(I just bought the trilogy so I'm starting 1 soon) but mass effect 2 IS AWSOME

1st bioshock is great, second not so much, infinite looks pretty great, but not out yet

I've played Mass Effect 1 & 2. I really enjoyed the first one but the second wasn't as good. There are mild time constraints and after having established you basically have infinite ammo in the first. They give you limited ammo in the second in the form of thermal clips. Which wouldn't be bad if they made sense. By this I mean if they could cool off and be reused. Also to me the art style seems different more glossy somehow but these are small peevs and wouldn't stop me from recommending them or playing the 3rd if I could.

As for Bioshock I only played the first one and can see how it would be good but I have "crippling" OCD which forces me to kill every big daddy I see leaving me with nothing but a wrench and empty guns I would rather just throw at enemies of of frustration.
