Halp! I'm running out of Cloud save data space on PS+!!!

#1HellsingOrgPosted 3/18/2013 2:25:40 PM
I play lots and lots of games and I beat them and then upload the save to the cloud so I will not lose them if my ps3 fails.

some saves are locked and can't be transferred to a USB device so Cloud saving is the best.

but sadly I'm just a few mb away from reaching the full limit ;_;

Is there any way Sony will give us like 2-5 GBs of space in the future?
1GB gets used up fast for games that have stupid 32mb saves >_>

There is no way you have that many locked saves.

How many game saves do you have? I have 100+ games and multiple saves for some of those games and I'm only missing 200-300MB.

buy sony lol or delete some of your old saves...unlikely that you'll ever be touching all 23+ locked saves games again

All it takes is one game to break PS+ cloud storage. The WWE 13 save file is 3gb. The SAVE FILE, not the install file. And of course, it's locked, so if you want both WWE 13 and PS+ cloud storage, you can go f*** yourself. Thanks, THQ.

I thought Afrika was the biggest at 387mb save file. I know before the limit was increased from 150mb to 1 gig you wouldn't of been able to save that to the cloud.

I looked this up out of curiosity and it seems the CAW (create a wrestler) mode is the culprit. The normal save data is around 7mb but it seems the moment you add a CAW it shoots up over 2 gig. The more CAW files you have the larger it gets. That is one hell of a jump.

Yup. Sitting on 50 CAWs and it's just over 3gb now. There really is no reason for that. Other games keep track of tons of detailed information and aren't nearly so large.

you know you can store you save files locally on a usb drive or sd card, the main reason people use cloud ps+ is because of copy protected save files anyway so 2gb should be more than enough.
