Yes. I think they can add replayability as long as it doesn't require extensive grinding.

Worst thing this gen., it's useless and we now can't copy our saves because of it, I blame MS.

I like them. If I like a game enough I'll try to get the trophies, but only as long as I'm enjoying the game still.

Oh, I'm forgot to get on topic.

Trophies are ok, I won't spend tons of time trying to collect 'em all though. Just one's I really feel like getting.

Why would you want to disable it? It adds replay value, and requires little effort to make.
Now, the ability to delete certain games from my trophies list, that I would want.
