They didn't. They ended it how they wanted. The raging nerd fanboys f'd it up.
Agreed. Perhaps people would've preferred to have a true choose your own adventure game, where you could be nearing the end, make a wrong decision, and die and have to start the game all over. Maybe that will make people happy.
While I had issues with the original ending, I think a lot of people went overboard on it. I mean, I wanted something of an epilogue to the game, which the original ending was missing. The new Extended Cut stuff? That did the trick. I see something of the consequences of my actions and don't slam into a brick wall at the end.
Just my thoughts on it. --- You ever meet one of those Don Quixote types and just wonder "What the hell are they thinking?"
1) Pick Control Ending....make up own theory that Shepard can leave after controlling them. 2) Restart at save before Cerberus base 3) Go do Citadel DLC 4) Party = reaper celebrations...everyone celebrates...end of game. everyones happy.
