Am I going to get called a noob no matter who I play as in fighting games?

He is the easiest one to use and to main, Do you play on Stylish or Technical? I decided my main to be Noel when i first saw the character, However when i played as Ragna in Technical i liked him

Try also challenge mode to help you learn comboes

I'm playing Calamity Trigger at the moment.Does that have Stylish mode.

(I have Continuum Shift too, but I want to play story mode first.)

I think only EXTEND have Stylish mode, The arcade version of Shift had some sort of a "Stylish" mode, Idk about console version

I wanted to play against you but you don't have EXTEND, Which also made me wonder why you didn't choose Makoto over Litchi, And EXTEND is like CS just with DLC characters free, more modes and balances

I know. I found Continuum Shift (regular) for $4 though, so it was too hard to pass up. I'll Get extended when I get my TE stick though, but I'm looking for a new job at the moment, so that will have to wait.

I also recommended to start as Ragna first because Litchi is on the low tier, You can start with Jin also instead of Ragna if you want

I'm also focusing mostly on MK9 at the moment and only playing Blazblue for story and few rounds in practice (went online just to test it out). I know MK9 is considered to be a 'lesser' fighting game among the hardcore, but the reason I'm playing it is it seems simple enough to pick up and I'm using it to teach me how to use a fight stick.

Wether you pick your favorites, play the high tiers, or become a low tier hero, people will call you a noob. And if your character is worse than their OP top tier bull**** and you win... whoo boy. Prepare for a salt mine.

The best thing about characters like Eddy is that a noob can only use them effectively against mediocre players, and that's why they get so butthurt about it. An expert wouldn't fall for that stuff.

Yup. Soon as I played someone with actual skills, I got my ass handed to me.

Wouldn't that be the case whatever character you were, or is Eddy a really low tier character?

People get salty in fighting games, don't be sensitive.
