What is the benefit of buying digital PS3 games over physical PS3 games?

Can someone explain to me what the benefits of digital over physical are for buying new PS3 games?

No getting up and switching discs

You dont have to hear that annoying noise the spinning disk makes?

Also the convenience of not having to leave your house.
Rainbow dash is best pony.

(1) Takes up less real estate in your house/ room.
(2) HOYT777 posted...
No getting up and switching discs

(3) Can't hurt the disc

That being said, I do prefer physical copies to digital. But, I typically have both depending on the situation.
I'll make a big enough ruckus for everyone.

It saves fat people from having to leave the house or having to get up and put the disc in the console.

Cannot be stolen or broken or scratched. Always tied to your account so if your PS3 breaks you can redownload them good as new.

Besides not having to get up to switch disks there isn't much. If your PS3 gets stolen your physical games probably will too but with digital you can re-download them onto a new ps3 should you get a new one. Of course the risk here is that this is only available so long as PSN is up. Once it goes down you get hammered as you can't make a back up and put it on a new ps3 should your old one break or be stolen.

Physical is the way to go unless you have a high chance of being robbed.

Sorry you lack the intelligence needed to understand sch a simple concept. Allow me to list some benefits.

Faster than going to the store
Less wear and tear on your Blu Ray drive
2 copies of the game for the price of one
Can't lose/break
Having all your games on your HDD means no disk swapping
Oddly enough, l can't think of a sig right now. Please, feel free to suggest one for me.
