My prediction is an arcade racer with no splitscreen and ridiculous rubberband AI. I know, call me crazy.

Seeing as they're the only NFS developer right now... yeah, just another annual NFS game. Probably gonna be released for both current gen and next gen consoles (like Most Wanted and Carbon years ago).
"And the original Mass Effect is absolutely an Xbox 360 exclusive, making Xbox 360 the only place to get the full Mass Effect experience."- Microsoft

I won't be buying it. Most Wanted and Hot Pursuit were both garbage.

The more people post on GameFaqs, the more I lose faith in humanity.

I don't know that I would go that far, but at best I can say they were briefly entertaining. The NFS series in general takes much of the skill out of driving and still has some of the worst and most obnoxious AI in the genre.

NFS is kind of like "baby's first racer." Once you move on to more serious racing games, it is hard to take NFS seriously.

All that said, if they could include a splitscreen mode, I would sing NFSs praises for being a great game for having friends over.

It's a NFS title, Peter Moore basically confirmed that a month or two ago.

im one of the few who dont really like the open world burnout style game.... burnout 3 was by far my favorite from criterion.... I dont care if my racing game is linear with limited off-shoots and exploration... as long as the racing is tight and frantic... thats all i need.... the open world choose your own path racing is not my cup of tea
