I heard they patched it but no it still sucks

Just get Fatal Frame 1 on PSN next week

It was patched long ago, so it's not as bad now, but there are still minor issues of course. The bigger issues were fixed.

Had a major patch, but still sucks so bad. you better get them on PS2 hopefully hopefully Sony isn't that stupid and know that HD Collection is still major crap and get add them as PS2 Classics.

It still freezes for some people, framerate isn't so great, audio synching improved but still messes up...but for the most part the worst performance problems were fixed by the patch. The subjective stuff (aesthetics like texture changes and the fog) doesn't bother all of the old fans, though, so some people do think it's the best version now.

yes, and it fixed the major issues. i played though both games after the patch and they were fine.
Glad DmC shipped a million copies and was a success. Supporting risk-takers and change is how the industry grows.
