Actually the list is bigger

Coming this Summer
1. Tales of Xillia
2. Dragon's Crown
3. Time and Eternity

Coming this Fall
1. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII
2. Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix
3. Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness
4. The Guided Fate Paradox

Coming in 2013
1. Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (likely Summer)
2. Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster (likely Fall)

Again, all **** except Xillia, FFX, KH. Disgaea if you're into that. Dragon's Crown is not really an RPG.

Well, it's your opinion. :-P

2013 is the year of JRPG since we already have
1. Ni no Kuni
2. Atelier Ayesha
3. Hyperdimension Neptunia V

And this is why the jrpg is no longer relevant. you have an mmo thatís failed once a sequel no one wanted and a niche game most people won't play.

- An MMO that has been rebuilt almost completely from the ground up to fix the original version's criticisms while also adding in new content.
- A sequel that, believe it or not, some people did want. After FF13-2, I can't wait to see how Lightning's story ends.
- A niche game that a fair amount of people will play. So what if a ton of people wont' play it? A ton of people don't need to for it to be successful to some degree.

1 If I make a ship and call it the titanic people will avoid it no matter what because of the fist ship with that name
2 FF13 is one of the most hated games in the FF franchise
3 being a sucsessful niche game won't make it relavent to the industry as a whole

1) An Australian company is rebuilding Titanic exactly as it was and is already booked all sails for the first 2 years. True story.
2) And? It has tons of fans that want a sequel. I don't like McDonalds, millions hate McDonalds, doesn't mean McDonalds will not give those that like it what they want.
3) Industry? lolwat. It will be interesting to JRPG fans. That's the point.

See? Think before you post your hating bias.

And I'm ecstatic to finally experience:

-FINAL FANTASY X-2 International
-Kingdom Hearts FINAL MIX
-Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories
-Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Movie

that were never released here (Europe), and also experience FINAL FANTASY X International in its real version, not the broken version we got years ago.

Honestly not really.

I love FFX and KH, but I played them a decade ago, I'll still be picking them up.

The only JRPG that matters is Tales of Xillia, since it isn't a port or remaster, it's new, and it's going to be good.

The niche games, all of them are just money grabs and you people fall for it. They all are horrible, unless it's Atlus/Xseed, I don't pay attention to NIS,Gus,etc. They make pretty ***** games. I won't ever look at another thing they throw out after that abomination Cross Edge.

As for Lightning Returns, let's not even talk about considering "FF" as JRPG anymore. I'll leave it at that.

Yes, please leave it at that. FINAL FANTASY is a JRPG.

Also, those games are new (see above), and the Movie is new.

So having one good game means it's the "year of the JRPG?"

Ayesha and Hyperdimension... come on. Are you kidding? Have some standards.

Dude. Don't delude yourself. A majority of the fanbase doesn't care about Lightning Returns. The portion of the fanbase that does is the minority. Of course, this'll only be confirmed when the game is out, but it's inevitable.

There isn't any actual role playing in Tales, final fantasy, KH and Disgaea either.
