PS3 Died YLOD Few Questions?

#1highwayman1739Posted 4/10/2013 5:52:41 PM
After 6 year 5 months my PS3 has died:(
After some research I found a website (ps3repairshop.com) that fixes the motherboard by: Genuine Lead-Tin Solder Re-Ball of the RSX GPU BGA, instead of the reflowing method using the oven or heat gun.
My question is has anybody personally used this company or has had experience using this method to repair the YLOD. I dont want to waste money if the oven or heat gun works just as well. Or if you have any other companys or information about YLOD i would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advanced

Never heard of them, but I would highly suggest you Endless Electronics.

They're very reputable, and have quality services. I've sent my PS3 there, and friends PS3 and no complains at all.
