want to get two or three games for less than 50 bucks.

Have really only played Mass Effect 1 and 2 and Uncharted 1 and 2.

Looking at MGS 4, Uncharted 3 and a Ratchet and Clank game possibly but suggestions welcome.

Yeah you have a good mine of great games to buy cheap.
MGs4 is a good choice. My reccomendation would be Red Faction Guerilla
I imagine its around $15 by now and it's an amazing game that will last you a long while if you get into it

For a good shooter, i would go with resistance or killzone. All games in the franchises are probably cheap now, though the first Killzone is a PS2 game. The remake is by itself on the PSN, or you could get the killzone collection.

MGS4 is under $10 used at Gamestop. You should be able to fins one easily with a case and manual.
Ratchet and Clank Crack in Time is also under $10. R&C Tools of Destruction is around that price.
Uncharted 3 is under $20 used.
Since you've played Mass Effect 1 and 2, you can buy 3 for around $18 at Gamestop.
People trash the store, but they have great prices for older games.

TC personally, you should just go to your local Gamestop and check out what they have used. Or go to their site and look up used games by price, then you could see if the store close to you has it in stock.
