REmake > RE2 > RE4 > RE3 > RECV > REvelations > RE1 > RE5 > Dog poop > RE6
Exactly that order.
DQ: VII > V > VI > VIII = IX > III > IV > I > II
RE2 > RE6 = REmake > RE3 = RE1:DC > RE:CV + Survivor 2 = RE5 > Outbreak+Outbreak#2 > RE0 = RE4 > Dead Aim > Survivor > Gaiden > Deadly Silence > Operation Racoon City > Mercenaries 3D
I haven't yet played Revelations, Umbrella Chronicles and Darkside Chronicles, but from what I've seen, I'll like them.
I also played Operation Raccoon City only for a couple of hours on a friend to know I wouldn't really like it personally.
I'll get it someday, alongside Umbrella/Darkside Chronicles.
(Mercenaries 3D was such a shame).
Can't wait for Revelations. :D
Also, Kalamata olives baby!
My mother is from a village on the outskirts of Kalamata, and every year I work my ass off to harvest them and create delicious oil and olives. :D

RE2>RE4>=REmake>RE3>RE5>Being brutally tortured for an extended period of time>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>RE6. I've never played CV but I might pick it up on the marketplace sometime in the not too distant future.
RE4 ruined the series.
RE2=RE:CV>REmake>RE3> RE4=RE5> RE:Rev.
Haven't bought RE6 at all, but I guess I'll do it after a while. RE5 was an excellent co-op game, so I guess I'll buy it when me and my couch co-op partner have the time to play.
I guess RE6 would end up somewhere between RE4/5 and Rev.
My gripe with the newer Resident Evils is that they are much too gun-oriented. What I loved about the Resident Evil series was the survival/horror aspects and the puzzle aspects. However, the newer Resident Evils are great action games though, but they don't have the same impact on me playing alone in the dark like the old ones had.
RE2 just was extremely well-made, same with RE:CV. REmake was great as well, improving upon RE1, but on the whole as a game the two former games beat it.
RE3 was also excellent, especially how it tried to do RE a little differently. I remember starting with a ridiculous amount of ammo, but see it all disappear quite fast, especially if you chose to fight Nemesis in all the encounters. I remember the music playing tricks with me, so that coming through a door I could never really tell if Nemesis was going to appear or not.
I don't think it's that far from the others, it's just that I think the others have a slight edge over it.
Bacon > everything else.

REmake > RE2 > CV > RE3 >>>>> RE4 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>All rest
Definitely the most accurate.
Except that the games with horrible controls somehow got put in front.

re4>re6>re5 and the rest are irrelevant
You release your game and it has disc locked content and day 1 dlc I will just buy your game used.
whoa, tc. i enjoyed 6, but lets not go nuts here.
those are what i had the most FUN with. 4-6 are not the greatest resident evils, but they are FUN games, especially in coop.
