JRPGs seemed to have built a reputation for some very generic stories filled with many cliches and silly drama, and for a good reason. However, there are some JRPGs out there with some really good stories. What are your favorites?
Mine would be Tales of Symphonia. Sure it starts with the main character just wanting to accompany his friend / crush, but it evolves into so much more. It was filled with twists and turns, and it ended up being one of the more better and complex stories I've experienced in a video game. --- Got it Memorized? GT: Risev / PSN: RisevQ8

Final Fantasy VI Chrono Trigger Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete Ys 1 and 2 Chronicles Ys 3: The Oath in Felghana Suikoden 2
All of those games come to mind when I think of RPGs with really good storylines and storytelling. Those aren't the only ones either, just the ones that immediately come to mind for me. --- If you're not going to share with the entire class, then don't bother sharing at all.
