Never really played DD outside the demo which was pretty fun but I liked the archery combat of it all. Other than that I'm clueless if I'll like the party system and how much combat will evolve after many hours in.
I also have access to all the Borderlands 2 DLC if I were to get the game. I did a small play through (never beat it) and enjoyed it but I also never got to experience anybody else outside the Gunzerker. I always heard rumors of additional characters after the Mech. Any possible truth to this?
Either way, show me your opinions! --- There is no solace above or below. Only us. Small. Solitary. Striving. Battling one another. Read. Think. Listen. Shut the hell up.

Dragon's Dogma. No further opinion needed. --- There is a board for RPG, you know: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/220-rpgs-everything-else

Borderlands 2 is getting a 6th character soon. I think it was like a bandit or something. Either way, Borderlands 2. Great game. Not amazing, but still great. --- I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

get borderlands 2, the running back and forth will annoy you a lot in dragons dogma, I'm nearly finished with that game (almost got platinum) and i can't wait to see the back of it, def get borderlands 2 much more fun and it has a better fast travel system to boot too. --- UK Female Gamer PC specs: AMD FX BULLDOZER 4100 QUAD CORE 4.0ghz ATI HD6670 8GB RAM 1TB HDD DLC THE GAME http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h472NmF1HEQ

I liked both games but I spent a lot more time playing Borderlands 2 than I ever did Dragon's Dogma. Give the choice between the two games I would say BL2 is the better game all day long but I would go with DDDA because it is the complete edition of the game. Just wait a few more months and you will be able to get the complete edition of BL2.

Have you played Borderlands? If so, you know what you're getting into with BL2, more of the same with small improvements.
DD:DA is pretty awesome too.
They're both really fun, so you can't go wrong. The only thing I can say is that it seems like the community population for BL2 is a lot more stable. --- Polite conversation should never include Politics, Religion or what constitutes an RPG. Playing a game for it's story is like watching porn for it's story.

If I were you TC, I rather wait for the inevitable ''Complete Edition'' of Borderlands 2. DD: Dark Arisen is pretty much the Complete Edition of Dragon Dogma.
