get borderlands 2, the running back and forth will annoy you a lot in dragons dogma, I'm nearly finished with that game (almost got platinum) and i can't wait to see the back of it, def get borderlands 2 much more fun and it has a better fast travel system to boot too.

You can fast travel much easier in Dark Arisen.

i don't have dark arrisen, i have the normal version, also from what i read you need a save file from original dragons dogma to unlock unlimited portal crystals in dark arisen.

Ferrystones, not portcrystals.

Much better.

There are now more port crystals. There's one in each city which unlocks once you enter, and you get more to place yourself. Ferrystones are also much cheaper and easier to acquire.

If you have a save file though, you get an Eternal Ferrystone though, so you don't need to buy Ferrystones.

And also, the normal Ferrystones are reasonably priced. Cheap enough that they aren't a major investment, but not so cheap as to be abused.

Get both eventually, but I'd have to go with Borderlands 2.

I am not very impressed with Dragon's dogma. The limited area is really doing it in for me. I hate traversing the same area over and over and over again just to find the same people over and over and over again. Feels like a demo with time sinks to stretch it out.
