Thieves in Time is amazing.

I can't think of the last time we've had a decent 3D platformer.

Indeed, the last one I can think of is Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in time.

Maybe Sonic Generation if you liked the Modern Sonic sections.

I agree. Sly 2 is still slightly better IMO, but Sly 4 is definitely my favorite PS3 exclusive this gen.

What is the game like? I've been trying to convince my wife to get it to play with me, but she just says she doesn't like the Ratchet and Clank games and can't help but compare it to them from what she sees.

Currently, we're playing Lego City Undercover (which is FANTASTIC) and FFXII.

As a big fan of both I will say that R&C games have more fighting then platforming. Sly games tend to focus more on platforming and have a a lot f different mini games within the story missions.

Outside of the platforming aspects though, the Ratchet and Sly games don't really have that much in common. There's a demo on psn though so have her play that and see if she likes it.

Sounds good. I mean, personally I'm a R&C fan and Jak fan as well... it's just convincing her....
