Renting movies is just too expensive! Sony is out of their minds.

Seriously $6 to rent some movies. That's more than a movie ticket where I live, which is $5.50. Then you only get it for 24hours after first play. I remember when video renting stores were still around it was like $5 for a week! Even comparing to red/blue box they might be 1 day only too but at least they're only $1! That means by the time I watch 5 movies through one of the boxes, $5, I would have $30 on the PSN.

F*** you Sony. Think you're just going to rip me off.

Eureka Seven, now that brings back some memories - I remember that show.

Kinda miss those days... :/

On-topic, yeah - I would probably stick with Redbox.

It's not just Sony. Just about any online video rental service charges way too much to rent or buy a movie.

are you complaining because you bought one?

or. whatever. This topic is stupid.

5.50 for one viewing, with no ability to pause or rewind and the potential for interruption by noise and things like phones

vs

6.00 for 24 hours, pause and rewind, replay and complete control of the environment.

They're definitely tearing that 50 cents from you.
