And since when is a movie ticket $5.50?! $10 minimum here upwards of $15 if you want the best quality screen.

Seriously $6 to rent some movies. That's more than a movie ticket where I live, which is $5.50. Then you only get it for 24hours after first play. I remember when video renting stores were still around it was like $5 for a week! Even comparing to red/blue box they might be 1 day only too but at least they're only $1! That means by the time I watch 5 movies through one of the boxes, $5, I would have $30 on the PSN.

F*** you Sony. Think you're just going to rip me off.

lol, you have no idea the number of people that pay the asking price without a second thought. That's who retailers count on for revenue. Not people like you.

After the second time I got the automated call from Blockbuster to remind me to return the DVD I had already returned I pretty much stopped renting. Now I check my local library. They have the new Hobbit film, but I'm on a waiting list with 150 people ahead of me. Or I just buy used DVD's. Occasionally I will buy a new DVD when it is first released.
My favorite app is still the Mute button on my TV's remote.

Eureka Seven, now that brings back some memories - I remember that show.

Kinda miss those days... :/

On-topic, yeah - I would probably stick with Redbox.

Eureka Seven is on Toonami along with Soul Eater, IGPX and some others.

I remember IGPX. Don't think I watched it much, but I remember it had Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory's Soundtrack.

At least if I want to rent movies it's cheaper for me to rent from Family Video. There I can rent two movies for $1 for 5 nights.
