Dark Souls by miles over DA. And AC3 is so different and IMO one of the worst in the series (beat all of them, but AC3 could have used a solid year of polish so that every 5 seconds wasn't interrupted by a 3 second white loading screen)
Now Playing: Ni No Kuni, Dead Space 3, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, AC3 PSN: AssaultMonkey150
Personally, I prefer Dragon's Dogma over Dark Souls. DS is basically evade/block and attack at the right time. That's it. It just rekindles your love of challenging experience that was lost with the arrival of this Gen.
Pros: +epic boss battles (no QTE's, just pure action. Think Shadow of colossus + DMC+ Monster Hunter) +huge array of equipment +Pawn system is actually good +New content is around 20 hrs (around 100+ hours for 100% completion)
Cons -bad...I mean really really bad story development (the concept was good but poorly executed) -Dark Arisen messed up the Pawn's AI (Their behavior will change frequently) -compulsory use of RC (the new content will have you use sh!tloads of Rift Crystals that you can only get via Pawn hires, purchase from online store, and loots which are really low so if you don't have any friends who hires your pawn, you are basically screwed up)
PSN: Remall69 (Playing: Dragon's Dogma) "MC: Picollo l Pawn: Vlad (Jesus died (got corrupted) so I made a new one. He's a vampire and very emo).
