ITT: Sony owns all games on PSN and is the only one that decides what goes up... Ask the publisher. It was their decision.

The PS Blog post explains the reasoning very clearly - these games are all from the same publisher and the publisher gave the rights for those games to go on the US PSN. It's as simple as that.

Because only Amon's opinion matters to Amon.

Also, while we're talking about good imports, there's a number of others:

Tales of Phantasia
The Bishi Bashi Series
The Choro Q Series
Snowboard Kids Plus
Panzer Bandit
Pulirula
Umihara Kawase Shun Second Edition
Gradius Gaiden
Darius Gaiden
Ganbare Goemon: Oedo Daikaiten
Bakusou Kyoudai

There's a few good European titles too:

Firebugs
EVO's Space Adventures

No doubt there's loads of others, like 75% of the PS1 library never came to North America.

If they're going to keep bringing over imports, they need to bring over LSD already. That game looks...well...different.
