Would kids buy CoD and GTA if they weren't rated M?

I really don't think they would. Usually they just buy these games to feel bigger and stroke their egos.

Trick question since kids can't buy M-rated games themselves.

That's just silly. They buy games like cod because they're easy to pickup and play and they have quickscoping.

I can't speak for GTA. Everyone buys GTA because they only make so many games every few years. That and the GTA games are great regardless of what the PS3 board says.

Kids still get their hands on them, it's not that difficult to do. It just requires irresponsible guardians of which there are plenty.

They still would buy them, they experience a growth in their pants wherever they see a gun or a tough guy on a cover.

So kids that buy CoD and GTA are gay? I'm honestly a bit surprised by that.

Most of them wouldn't.

I think the word 'overrated' is a bit OVERUSED.

No. Playing games they arent old enough to buy themselves makes them feel elite.

Wow, I haven't cared about game ratings in such a long time that I almost forgot they existed, it's kinda funny to think little kids stroke their egos by playing games that are for older audiences.

My parent's bought me the original Grand Theft Auto (PS1) for my 11th birthday in 1998 (I had asked for it).

It had nothing to do with being "cool" or "mature." In fact, at that time almost nobody had even heard of the game (none of my school or neighborhood friends at least). It was a one of a kind experience (at that time) that I enjoyed while playing it for a few days at my cousin's house in New York.
