Anyone get Prince of Persia trilogy from PSN?

I'm thinking of getting it but I've heard a lot of bad things about how the game (sands of time) likes to freeze a lot.

It's either that or save the $14 and some odd cents for something else later. I hope they give a discount on Mafia 2 at some point. I've had the game before and have all the dlc but I sold the game a while ago (for $30 at gamestop lol).

whatever glitches were present in the PS2 versions of the games are still present in the PS3 version. they basically just gave it an HD makeover and nothing else.

that being said, I didn't run into any major issues playing the games, and i played both the PSN and disk versions (disk version was on sale, so I bought it to free up HDD space). Mainly because my experience with the original versions showed me what to avoid.

This. I own both versions. It's all the same bugs, people just got mad because they weren't fixed.

Quick question. How much does it take on the HDD? Is the physical version the exact same?(meaning downloading to the ps3 HDD aka RE4/CV JPN version)
#7CrimsonGear80Posted 7/11/2013 6:29:12 PM
The physical version still installs a little over 3gigs to the HDD, but it's much less than the 9+ if you just downloaded them all from the PSN.

So... that's it? This doesn't seem all that bad. I mean better to keep the Original Source Preserved(even if there are better PC & XBox versions out there) than do what Konami did to Silent Hill 2 & 3. *shudders*

i bought the game for 8$ on psn. I did take time to look over the dead boards(ps2,ps3,xbox36). It looks like you need to turn off internet and log off psn to prevent freezes. SOT froze on me twice and its bought at the menu screen. But this kinda remedy that. I'm just wondering if there is anything else i should be aware off as far as game breaking glitches? I do plan on making multiple saves.
