Are you buying Lightning Returns Final Fantasy XIII?

No sorry.

There should be a "Waiting for reviews" option. Most likely I'm not, that damn time thing really took the jam out of my donut. You put time limits in an RPG and my interest in the game pretty much drops dead. I hated Majora's Mask, I hated Atelier. I hate stress when playing RPGs. I love intense battles, but I don't love a ticking clock that forces me to rush through things to make it in time. In a few sequences it can work, but not when the entire game is built around it.

They originally had me at "SWEET!" and when I heard about the time limit, I was like "Screw you". That's the only thing that currently holds me back from it and I'm gonna wait until I get a completely accurate description of the mechanics first before I reconsider it.

Maybe. The amount of good games that SE has developed I could probably count on my fingers, so I'm understandably a bit skeptical.

XIII and XIII-2 were good games (more-so the latter...), just hollow for FF games. I'll probably pick it up at some point. I mean at this point I don't see why people keep expecting them to be like the "golden age" of FF when it's been long-gone. They're still good games, just not the same.

I think ironically if they didn't have Final Fantasy on the box they'd be better appreciated for what they are.

Anyone who says they will buy this game please stop calling yourself gamers.

Real gamers would not buy trash that is killing the industry.

If you truly care about the industry do not buy Lightning Returns.

This may or may not be relevant to you, but recent news suggests that New Game Plus may allow for untimed exploration, or at least give you multiple chances to find stuff:

Q8: Final Fantasy XIII-2 featured multiple endings how about this game?
A8: This is the last installment in the Lightning Saga, so there is only one ending. Outside of this, if you fail to save the world, of course its game over, and the New Game Plus feature will allow you to explore new areas of the world after completing the game.

@BigKahn_14: hush.

Most likely not. I could change my mind eventually, though.

Anyone that judges a game before reviews, demos, and actual decent amount of gameplay isnt a real gamer. Not to mention these same crybabies are the main problem with the gaming industry :/

I still don't believe most people on gamefaqs are even gamers. Just assuming they are embodiments of hate and stupidity taking digital form.
