My two launch-day Sixaxis controllers both have all of their buttons working, and hold a charge like they normally would, but the analog sticks don't slide back into the middle.
The DS3 that came with my Slim PS3 has a problem where it thinks the left DPad button is always being pressed.
And about two months ago I got an awesome pixelated camo controller that is fine and dandy. :D

Have had four controllers since 2008, thousands of hours of use on each of them, and the only thing that has happened to any of them is that the knobby on the top of the thumbstick on one came a little loose and kept spinning around. A little super glue, and it's back in action.
Admittedly, I don't throw my controllers, and I take good care of my stuff.

I break controllers because of fighting games
They just break in my hands, I press the buttons too hard
