They'd do better to return to their roots, and incorporate adventure elements, and do so in a much improved manner than they did in Jak 2 and 3. --- "Cute" in an RPG is a kiddy euphemism for "Sexy". Online is the worst thing to happen to gaming.
Adding RPG elements seems like a natural evolution to the series --- Your life, your choice. 60 seconds.

Not really sure I follow you with that line of thought. What could they add that would make it more RPG like?
You can already interact with NPCs and the environment. The world is already open and explorable. You already have "HP" and "MP" stats. Adding in other attributes would be redundant, unnecessary, and pointless. You already have multiple modes of transportation. You already have bosses. You already have gear upgrades.
...really, what RPG elements would you like them to add exactly, and why do you think it would make the game better by doing so? --- "Cute" is a kiddy euphemism for "Sexy". Online is the worst thing to happen to gaming.

Maybe in the form of weapon enhancements (might as well go full Ratchet and Clank), but that's pretty much it.
It could greatly benefit from actual 3D platforming. Honestly if they make it, Jak IV will just be full on TPS with wall climbing. --- Goodbye Chewy. You were the best friend I could ask for. Rest in peace, buddy.
