Haven't played a game yet that I could blame the actual game. I have seen countless complaints here that boiled down to a bad player.

Tho there are a few games with some bad parts just never stopped me from playing or finishing.

If hit boxes are pretty bad like in MHFU, I'll get irritated at that, but you get used to it.

It depends on the game and how well made it is. If there are design flaws I'll blame the game, but more often than not in the end I'll blame myself.

Depends on if the games mechanics are actually to blame.

IE: MGR horrible camera that would spin you into enemy attacks/flame walls.

Try playing Ninja Gaiden 3 (the recent one, not the NES one).

Depends on how it went on.

If I died or had to restart because I messed something up, then I'll blame myself.

If I died or had to restart due to AI problems (like say, a guard in the first Splinter Cell seeing me when I'm hugged up against the wall and not touching him.), glitches, etc, then I'll blame the game.

That was complete BS.
Thought about buying it until I found out the entire game just rains rockets on your head.
